I believe this is Dorothy E. (Shobert) Sherrell‘s husband James. Unfortunately we did not have tools which would have allowed us to clean off this stone so we could read it. It could be done if needed at some point in the future. The sod has simple grown onto this stone. It was Thanksgiving and we have had very cold weather so the ground was frozen.
Not sure if this is Jan that use to stay with grandma..??? I am Dorothy Sherrells granddaughter Debbie..and other is Cheryl..Have been thinking of her and just now goolged her name and saw pics of her grave and others.

Debbi, Am sorry I did not respond earlier. I have been neglecting my blog I am afraid. No I am not the Jan who stayed with your Grandma but how ironic that we would have the same name. I am not related in anyway either. I simply have a passion for cemeteries. I visit Harbor Beach regularly because I have family who live in the area. My parents are buried in Rock Falls Cemetery. So when I know that I am going to be in the area, I often look to see if there are requests for photos on the findagrave website.
