Sarah Kathryn Florida Castor was born on August 4, 1907 in Hamilton County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Howard Castor and Ida May McDonald. They resided in Noblesville, Indiana. She married Harold Hedger on October 22, 1928. Harold Hedger was the son of Charles Hedger and Cora Smith. He was born on January 27, 1907 in Pendleton, Indiana.

Harold died on February 13, 1988 in Brandenton, Florida. Kathryn died February 19, 1995 in South Barre, Vermont according to her death record. She was like at a son's home.
