David Miner Boyer was the son of Valentine Boyer and Nancy Leets. He was born in April of 1955 in Rose Township, Oakland County, Michigan. He married Rhetta Blowers and they had four children: Henry Valentine(1876-1881), Edith May(1878-1932, Ora(1882-1884) and George Melvin(1883-1959). Rhetta died sometime after the birth of George in 1883. David married Eunice Electra White on April 4, 1986. They had six children: Nellie Electra (1887-1906), Daniel J(1888-1950), William Clarence(1890-1946), Flossie Janette(1894-1969), Celia Beatrice(1899-1971) and David Valentine(1905-1906). David Miner Boyer died on March 31, 1927. He is buried in Beebe Cemetery located in Rose Township, Oakland County, Michigan
